What if there was a place for just you and I

On a mountain top maybe, but not too high

Where dew drops would shimmer as the sun rose

And the moon would visit along with the stars of course

A fire place it would have, to keep us warm

Shall wrap ourselves in a blanket should there be a storm

Some books, a few puzzles to occupy the mind

For the evenings that don’t see our silhouettes, intertwined

The walks we would take

Because it was too much we ate

Sometimes a waltz in the night

With your arms around me tight

Away from the world, in our bubble we’d be

It will pop one day but right now, you are here with me.
